I was watching Southern Charm tonight on Bravo. Craig is apparently still reeling from his relationship breakup with Naomi, which took place over a year ago. He just made a tooth-fairy pillow for the baby girl that he dreamed of having with Naomi.

Really, Craig? How sad! It is far time to move on and quit daydreaming. Oh wait... LOL

Me when I see all my other neighbors chatting each other up. Seriously, I have been doing a lot of nature watching this summer. It has been really nice.

And why do I keep getting these ridiculous sales/ crank calls? I run to the phone to be met by silence or someone trying to scam me. 

Am I paranoid much? Well not at the moment. I live in a cul-de-sac and have a kitchen window, with no window treatment, so I do think people peer in, as they are circling about. Whether or not the people in their cars are total stalkers remains to be seen.

I was watching a show on Reelz today called "The Shocking Truth: The Exorcist." Great show! William Blatty, who wrote "The Exorcist," stated that people misunderstood the ending of movie. At the end, it seemed that good prevailed over evil. The priest defeated the devil, and we got a reassuring ending.

He goes on to say, that was not what he was trying to convey. It was not an easy feat to exorcise the demon out.  It was a hard fought battle! I agree with Blatty.  Do not underestimate the power of evil. Evil is out there and it may be even more powerful than Catholicism. That is a scary thought!

Whoever created this toy has some serious issues! Little boys love gross things like this. My son loves this commercial. Ugh! When will he outgrow this? I refuse to encourage foul behavior by purchasing this toy. NEVER!

Goliath Games, an American company, distributes this game, as well as a game, dealing with "doggy doo?" Also they have a game called "Who tooted?" Gross!

I went to Starbucks today and the barista told me that my name Danielle reminded her of the princess in Ever After. I was flattered and appreciative of the compliment.  (The baristas name was Josephine, which I also quite like.) I never saw Ever After when it came out in 1998. Even though I have always liked Drew Barrymore, the Cinderella story seemed a bit young for me. I was just never interested in watching it. 

I am glad to see a brunette princess here.  Life before bleach! I am glad the curly haired brunette isn’t just the funny best friend or the villain in this movie. Drew Barrymore can pull  off many looks. I hear that the movie also has a feminist vibe so it may not be bad. I might enjoy it.

I watched an episode of Dr. Phil today about a delusional man who refuses to seek treatment and the woman who loves him. I remember when my biological clock was ticking and I really wanted to get married. You can overlook subtle red flags in that phase of life. But, man, this is over the top. Run! Break off your engagement! I don't say that because he is mentally ill, (we deserve love too) but because he cannot see that he needs help and refuses treatment. What a difficult relationship to be in!

I remember being exposed to The Phantom of the Opera in my high school drama class. I never thought I would develop a delusion very similar to this later. She speaks to a stalker/phantom in her mind? This IS my delusion.

In my daily life,  I think that I am the one being stalked here by someone from my past. There is no turning back time and I will not fondly reminisce about a relationship that never was.

I have decided to focus on my family/my world more and pay attention less to outside distractions. This means I am dedicated to having tunnel vision when driving and out in public. I am going to work on my people-watching obsession because it distracts me from my present life and triggers all these weird delusions for me.

Someone on schizophrenia.com asked the question today, "who is attracted to you?"  Everyone basically answered no one is. Look at me! I am obese and old. Everyone else answered in a self-depricating way... except me.

It is not nice to call people nerds but that is my answer. Why do I think everyone is attracted to me? I honestly feel like a lot of different guys check me out and flirt with me but they are semi-joking. My confidence might be delusional. I am not single anyway so it ends there.

So my children have taken social skills classes to learn conversational skills and to make friends. I have always said that I could have used the same thing as a child. I have always been clueless socially and I don’t even have Autism. As an adult, I sometimes need help conversationally. This may be due to my mental illness. So how is my holiday starting out? I was just sitting here blogging when Federica began speaking to me, in my head. Maybe if Federica did not brag about loving voodoo on her Pinterest page, I would not fear her so much. I would have never linked her to the voices in my head or connected the dots rather! No one believes me!

On the bright side, I am having a low-key holiday at home this year and I have plenty of Xanax! (So there, voices!) I will silence you before you dare to speak and harass me.

Happy Canada day from an American! I have visited Canada and had a wonderful time there! I saw a lot of  men with ducktails. (This was in the 1980s) I met these guys who kept playing UB40. Every time I hear Red, Red Wine, I think of them!
