So I found this book on my walk today. Someone must be "paying it forward" with this free book. I will be sure to look into it, although it doesn’t sound like a particularly “feel good” story. It had a bookmark opened to the page below. 🤔

Valentina: We have been hexing you for so long and you can’t tell what is real or fake. Are Trey and Maeve still together and happily married, or not?  Wait and see!

Maeve:  Keep waiting around for nothing!  You haven’t got anything over me. You haven’t got a chance in hell with Trey Sanders! Maybe my voices aren’t caused by a Santeria hex, but more likely, the result of my mental illness and personal self doubt! My problem is believing that anything is possible. A Santeria hex is unlikely but somewhere in the back of my mind, it’s still possible to me. (Sad to say) Yes, my belief in magic is a cornerstone of my illness and could be possibly, my biggest downfall.

Fell off the brink after returning home from college 

Offered many jobs as a receptionist? What a let down that was, after thinking I was so smart in college and had the world at my feet 

Did I feel smart anymore? Not so much.

I was so lonely. What happened to all my college friends? What happened to my friends back home? They virtually disappeared.

Finally got my diagnosis of schizoaffective and got on a proper medication regimen. To this day, my medication keeps me sane and relatively content with the way things are in my life.

Oh how I love experts!
