I was born and raised in California. California girls and women don’t have one specific look, as California is multicultural. It’s always out-of-towners and transplants who assume that all Californians are blonde and beachy. Many transplants, including Maeve, move here to play out that role to their folks back home, who don’t know any better. It is not me who is the biter/poser.  Maeve and her paid CrossFit trainer friends are trying so hard to be California cool. Leigh is a sorority girl through and through still paying for her friends, long after college. You and your overly juiced, lesbian lovers can go to hell. It is Maeve, who is biting the style of a California stereotype. I was smitten with hippie culture and attracted to surfers my whole life as they were all around me, having grown up on the California coast so you can go to hell. Keith obviously found someone who reminded him a little bit of me, but it’s just not the same. I know Leigh and her idiot gymrat friends and witchy family already hate me. You are fooling no one “sweet” Maeve. You are a cutthroat competitive sorority Bitch through and through. Its war!

Our weird high efficiency clothes washer

 I have noticed a pattern with our clothes washer. It occasionally doesn’t work for me. I am completely unable to start it. It’s frustrating to ask for Stephen’s help to get it to start.

Today, as I was struggling to start the washer, I had an epiphany! My clothes washer is definitely a she/her. This confirmed to me yet again why I still haven’t thrown in the towel with men and most likely will not ever. Excuse for me sounding a bit pick me/musogynistic, but males are so much easier to start up. You gently brush past them, push against them gently and you’re on your way. Females are so much work! You have to touch them all over repeatedly, ,trying to figure out the pattern to get them going. I have to struggle and struggle to get her/my clothes washer going . It’s so frustrating. It know it’s just going to take as long as it takes. Sometimes, it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I mean I don’t think I personally have that problem though.  If I am with an equally skilled partner who I am attracted to, I too will react and enjoy myself.  This predicament signifies to me how much I appreciate the beautiful simplicity of turning men on.

Donald Trump was supposed to die today, not Richard Simmons! What a sweet and gentle man! Richard Simmons was an inspiration. I too, was an obese and verbally bullied child! I wish I had started taking accountability for my weight sooner but, as a child, I didn’t know any better…until I did. Kids all start giving more of a damn about their appearance once puberty hits. But I appreciated Richard’s spirit, motivation, and positivity. RIP

On a different note, turnabout is fair play. Who was trying to throw Alec Baldwin in jail for doing an on point and hilarious impersonation of Donald Trump? It’s so crazy! These are just jokes, folks. He speaks the truth though. In America we have freedom of speech because of our democracy. Fringe lunatics be damned! This is proof that we need Democrats at the highest levels of office in America, to ensure we don’t move towards a Trump totalitarian dictatorship! Glad Alec Baldwin got out of that mess, because he was apparently being framed?! Well, at least, we have fodder for a brand new episode of SNL! Thanks!

General Fathers Day message

Even if you have a lot of room to grow in terms of fathering/participating in your children’s lives, you have to be feeling like a better father than Rex Huermann right now. He is making many fathers look a lot better. Two days before Father’s Day Rex’s prosecutor had a press conference humiliating Rex’s daughter at the very least, about her computer search history while she was a minor and living in their familial home. If she had nothing to do with anything or knew nothing about his father’s alleged double life and she was just an eccentric teenager with possible psychological issues, her issues were no doubt magnified at first hearing the news about her father’s charges/arrest. Now she must feel even more devastated, as if she could hurt anymore.. I hope that someone is helping her psychologically during this time. I do worry about her right now and I do believe she will benefit from counseling and medication for the rest of her life. She is a victim of her father no doubt. I don’t know what the family knows, but looking at pornography is actually a threat to all teenagers and anyone who has access to the internet. There is a lot of crap on the internet that is harmful to the average person. Porn, in any form, is detrimental to our minds, the way we view the world, and the way we behave in relationships. What makes the porn that Huermanns attorney looks at any safer or acceptable than what she has been allegedly found browsing? It’s all bad but many persons would hate for you to take away their access to pornography. That’s just my point of view, in case you were wondering.

I also want to say that as a female, and a mother, I recognize and appreciate the fact that Mother’s Day comes before Fathers Day in the American calendar year. When your husband, partner, or simply the father of your children does nothing for you on Mother’s Day, you can always match his energy on Fathers Day. It’s good to see his attitude and pattern of effort or lack thereof  so you can reciprocate it when his day comes up. I appreciate the father’s of the world who are present and actively parenting to the best of their ability though. I do understand that the way that we were parented has a marked effect on the way we are as parents. We are in a new era now, where more is expected of us in terms of parenting. We need to establish new healthy relationships and contributions as parents to their children, even when our childhood and parent influence might have been less positive and pleasant.
