I just watched the first episode. Mark Ruffalo did a great job. This is the male version of my story unfortunately. He is Italian, Catholic, and has religious delusions. He is much more severely impacted than me though and with major mental deficits.
Watching this reminds me to be grateful that I am not worse off or locked in a mental institution. Things could be much worse! This movie is a great lesson in gratitude for me and a reminder to stay on my medication regimen.
What a good brother he is! I am grateful to my loving family too for all their help when I had an episode in 2014 and to this day. The strength of love has helped me in my darkest hours. Grateful to be feeling great today!
